Command Performance Big Band really is Big Band Jazz at its best. Each section sang and had the crowd getting out of their seats to dance. I'm so proud that Milwaukee has this band, made up of community members that truly love music, and it truly shows from their first note to their very last. Their performance at Music Under the Stars not only provided an amazing show, but a few hours to leave all worries behind and just enjoy. Great group and great people!

For the past several years, we have had the pleasure of having Command Performance play for our USO-themed dance, on Saturday night, during our annual WWII Days event. The Band comes dressed in 1940’s Army uniforms, which helps to transport everyone back to 1944.

Without a doubt, the Band is the high point of the event, as witnessed by the crowded dance floor. Not only is the Band a smooth performer of Swing and Jazz, but they feature a female vocalist, Julie Thompson, an outstanding big-band singer.

I heartedly recommend Command Performance.

I have got to tell  you, your band was not just good,  but outstanding and was one of the highlights of the whole evening! Sincerely, I could have listened to you all night! You were all so professional and you did a quality job.  Many, many people commented and truly enjoyed the music. Our first dance was not flawless (neither of us are dancers) but we had fun and the music length and tempo was just perfect. Our whole event was magical and something we have both always dreamed about experiencing one day.   Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for being such a special part of our wedding. I wish there was something we could do as a thank you for everyone!
